Executive Coaching
Individually tailored IFS-informed coaching to serve each client's unique goals, aspirations and challenges.
We start by getting to know your inner system: the parts of you that drive, protect, please, perfect or push through — and the grounded Self underneath them that's always available, even under pressure.
From there: articulating a motivating leadership purpose. Clarifying a powerful vision. Taking effective, unburdened action towards it.
Facilitating genuine shifts — not just in mindset, but in the deeper beliefs and protective patterns that keep old ways of leading in place.
Supporting real resilience: not white-knuckling through, but a nervous system and inner system that can actually sustain the pace of modern leadership.
Leadership Teams
Supporting senior leadership teams to build the kind of trust that only comes from understanding what's really happening beneath the surface — for each individual, and in the team's collective system.
Creating the conditions for members to feel like a team, not just a group of individuals defending their own turf. Helping the team recognise when protective dynamics (competition, conflict-avoidance, over-control) are running the room — and shift into Self-led collaboration instead.
Operating as a unified leadership force that leads from clarity and compassion rather than reactivity — generating genuine trust and forward movement.
Future Leaders
Supporting emerging leaders to build not just the skills, but the inner ground — the self-knowledge and self-leadership — to grow into bigger roles without losing themselves.
A combination of individual and group coaching, 360 feedback, and IFS-informed practices that help future leaders notice their own protective patterns early, before they harden into a leadership style.
Aligned with the organisation's purpose and strategic goals, with plenty of real-world application so the inner shifts become an embodied, everyday reality.

Workshops & One-offs
Taster and longer-form workshops, in person or online, giving teams and individuals a direct experience of IFS and Self-leadership in action.
I also design bespoke workshop experiences for small and large groups, and offer on-demand coaching for leaders facing a specific challenge right now — one-off sessions or short series.
Supervision for Coaches
I work with leadership, executive, team and life coaches — supporting them to do their own inner work, gain insight into their client relationships, and strengthen their coaching practice through an IFS lens.
Because a coach's own unexamined parts show up in the room too. My approach is developmental and holistic — we're coaches, but we're human systems first.
We collaboratively explore client relationships and system dynamics through an IFS-informed lens, alongside integral and systemic frameworks. Individual and group supervision. All topics welcome.
‘Self-Funders’
Recently a number of people have asked to work with me privately as their organisations’ development budgets have been reduced or frozen. This led me to launch a private coaching practice providing coaching at accessible rates for those funding themselves.
Check out www.ruthrochelle.com for more information.
I offer IFS informed coaching to individuals, partnerships, and groups of people who want to expand their life, work and relationship fulfilment.
diagnostic tools
LCP
Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) is unique because it is the only 360° assessment that measures Creative Competencies and Reactive Tendencies, combining leadership’s inner and outer attributes.
This 360-degree assessment feedback gives the leader greater insight into how they are perceived, including strengths and current limitations in their leadership effectiveness.
CLA
The Collective Leadership Assessment™ (CLA) delivers a powerful litmus test of collective leadership effectiveness for teams or entire organizations. The CLA is a comprehensive view of where employees view current collective leadership effectiveness compared to the desired collective effectiveness. The “gap” between current collective effectiveness and desired instantly reveals development opportunities.
models & frameworks
IFS - the foundation
Internal Family Systems is built on a simple, radical idea: we're all made up of different "parts" — the driver, the perfectionist, the people-pleaser, the inner critic, the part that shuts down under stress — each one trying to protect us in its own way. Underneath all of them is Self: the calm, clear, confident, compassionate core that's always there, even when it's hard to access.
For leaders, this isn't abstract psychology — it's the difference between a decision made from an anxious, controlling part and one made from grounded clarity. It's the difference between a team that feels managed and one that feels led.
IFS gives leaders a non-judgemental, practical way to notice which part is driving in any given moment, understand what it's protecting, and consciously choose to lead from Self instead. It's how sustainable, resilient, human leadership actually gets built — from the inside out.
vertical development
Drawing from Robert Kegan’s theory of adult development and the Leadership Circle’s levels of leadership and system transformation to enable leaders to access higher perspectives and greater leadership capacity.
systemic constellations
Using systemic mapping and constellations, drawing from the work of John Whittington and others, to help leaders expand their perspectives and embodied understanding of the wider context, and to navigate and lead in complex systems.
integral
A whole-person / whole-system approach of developing leaders and teams. Using models such as New Ventures West’s integral coaching framework and Ken Wilbur’s four quadrants to help leaders create the cultural conditions for successful change.
mindfulness & meditation
Developing leaders’ ability to access inner calm, resilience and presence. Using awareness, breathing and meditation techniques.

‘Ruth has an uncanny ability to navigate the way to the heart of management team issues. And she has the tools to guide people to a better understanding of themselves and each other as individuals. Her skills will help develop a well-balanced and firmly bonded team, committed to a shared purpose and goal. Success is only a few steps away from any team who has these assets.'
Vincent Nolan, Founder 2CV
'Ruth ran a workshop on Giving and Receiving Feedback with our team (thirty people) that has proved extremely valuable internally with our own training, and externally in our client relationships.
It was a pleasure working with her from the beginning of the project when she first came to our office to meet the team to the delivery of the workshop.'
